Terms of Service

1. Who we are
HIS Pods is operated by HIS Pods, Inc., a non-profit Florida corporation (“HIS Pods,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or otherwise using HIS Pods, you (“you,” the “parent”) agree to these terms.
2. The trial
New accounts begin with a seven-day free trial. We do not require a payment method to begin the trial. If you do not add a payment method during the trial, your access pauses on day eight and your data is preserved for ninety days.
3. Founding-family pricing
Founding-family pricing — 50% off our standard rate — is available to the first 1,000 families to subscribe and is locked in for the life of the subscription. If you cancel and resubscribe later, the founding-family discount may no longer be available.
4. Subscription, billing, and cancellation
Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual, depending on the plan you selected) at the price you signed up at (subject to clause 3). You may cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period and we do not pro-rate refunds for partial periods.
Refunds outside of these terms are at our discretion and we will issue them in good faith for clear product or billing errors.
5. Acceptable use
You agree to use HIS Pods only for personal or institutional educational purposes consistent with our mission. You may not (a) reverse engineer or extract our content for redistribution, (b) use HIS Pods to train competing AI models, (c) attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the service, or (d) impersonate another person.
6. Curriculum and Christian formation
HIS Pods integrates Christian worldview and Scripture across its curriculum. Our content reflects historic, creedal Christianity and is intended to support — not replace — the discipleship work of the family or local church. We do not require denominational alignment to enroll.
7. Intellectual property
All curriculum materials, lesson content, software, and brand assets are the property of HIS Pods, Inc. or our content partners. Subscribers receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the content for the subscriber family's or institution's own educational purposes during the subscription period.
8. Disclaimers
HIS Pods is provided “as is.” We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Educational outcomes vary by student; we do not guarantee specific learning results.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms over time. Material changes will be communicated to active subscribers by email at least thirty days before they take effect, except where a change is required for legal or security reasons.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Lee or Pinellas County, Florida.
